Russia Home Shirt 2017 is jointly unveiled by Adidas and Russia Football Association(RFS), which is designed for Russia national team to participate in 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup.
2017 FIFA Confederations Cup and 2018 FIFA World Cup hosts, Russia is currently ranked 53rd in the world.
The new light red home jersey draws inspiration from an iconic 1980s Adidas USSR kit, so that it shows a strong nostalgic style. Like the shirt from the 1980s, the new shirt has a white crew-neck collar and white sleeve cuffs. The zig-zag pattern is in scarlet, with white Adidas Stripes on the shoulders, and white trim on the collar and cuffs. These design details are closely connected with the tradition of Russian football. The Adidas logo is embroidered, with a sewn-on team badge on left chest.
The new home shorts and socks are also red, echoing with the red shirt.
Adidas breathable ClimaCool technology is used for moisture control leaving players cool and dry.
Russia Football Shirts, manufactured by Adidas, are made in more sustainable ways to make the world a better place. 100% recycled polyester saves resources and reduces the impact on the environment by reducing carbon dioxide emissions. The material has played a major role in environmental protection.
“The new shirt for national team emphasizes the connection among different players. It can bring a strong energy for players to encourage them to play confidently in football fields.” said Stanislav Cherchesov, the head coach of Russia national team and a former international goalkeeper for USSR and Russia of Ossetian origin.
